School House Craft offers weekly classes, hands-on workshops as well as an annual conference for artists and crafters. With classes from beginning to advanced, taught by instructors from all over the region. School House Craft is your year-round place to learn how to start and grow your creative small business empire!
Andrea along with her husband, owned and operated Bluebottle Art Gallery and Store in Seattle from 2002 – 2010. Bluebottle built a reputation for being at the forefront of the DIY indie art, craft and design movement. In 2010 Andrea moved full time to focus on building the Matthew Porter Art line. Andrea is one of the founding members of School House Craft.
Marlo (a.k.a. IMakeCuteStuff.com) has been in the retail and wholesale handmade craft industries for over 20 years, creating and selling her own work to over 200 stores across the country and abroad and more recently helping artists learn how to grow their businesses and improve their small object photography. She is a jeweler by trade, crafter of sewn things, teacher of techniques and mentor / arts business consultant for emerging artists. She is also the current organizer of etsyRAIN.com – an active community of over 1000 artists who reside in the Puget Sound region and own independent shops on Etsy.com. Marlo joined School House Craft in 2013 with the launch of our Continuing Education Series.
Adia was born and raised in the Puget Sound with family roots in Hawaii, Adia comes from crafty genes. Childhood craft times shared with her Popo (grandma), Aunty Joe Ann and of course Mom taught her to appreciate the heart in handmade from a young age. Adia is currently the Owner and Designer behind Rain City Forge and Miss B’s Boutique.
